Coaching for people who want their work to reflect their values.
Coaching helps you make sense of what matters to you in a complex world, identifying misalignments and tensions. It can support you to make real career decisions, whether that's a change of direction, a bolder move, or better navigating the work you're already in.
Nina’s approach is grounded in 20+ years experience making sense of complex problems at the intersection of creativity, learning and sustainability.

My approach
How do you feel about the time, expertise and energy you put into your working life? Do you feel a sense of alignment between what you care about and where you focus your energy? Or are you experiencing tensions or disengagement?
In a world fraught with crisis and complexity, finding purpose in work feels more important than ever. But how do we know if our work is truly contributing to building the world we want to live in?
For me, coaching is a skilful conversation, or series of conversations, with purpose. Coaching can develop within us the skills and insights that lead to self-awareness, reflective practice and critical thinking - the key skills for tracking how we are feeling about our working lives.
Coaching conversations allow you to go deeper, to truly reflect on what your values are and how they align with work for you. Through coaching, I can support you to identify the tensions and challenges that are surfacing questions. Through active listening, asking the right questions and drawing on psychological insights, I’ll work with you to nurture a holistic understanding of how to approach your working life with purpose.
My career in education for sustainability brings understanding of learning styles, thinking through complexity, creativity and design thinking to support clients with the questions they are asking and the challenges they are identifying.
By centering my coaching practice on core values such as equity, empathy, and transparency, I work with individuals, teams and organisations to create a resilient foundation for long-term growth and self-awareness, aligned with your understanding of what matters.
Testimonials
“Nina’s approach towards coaching is truly wonderful - she takes the time to listen and absorb but then asks the right questions that pushes you to think deeper and arrive at the answer rather than have it be handed to you.”
“Nina’s coaching style is calm, warm, and approachable. I really valued the way she used thoughtful questions and scenarios to help me reflect on my experiences and recognise the strengths I already had. Thanks to Nina, I’ve gained a renewed sense of confidence and a clearer understanding of how to lead effectively. Her support has made a meaningful difference to both my professional development and my day‑to‑day mindset.”
“Nina’s gently inquisitive coaching style helped me navigate a hectic time transitioning between roles. I was looking for a coach to help me close out a much loved chapter of my career in higher education while I stepped into an exciting new role in a different sector. Together, we explored ways to intentionally contribute fully within my capacity. Nina’s thoughtful prompts left me with grounded confidence and energy to bring my best self to both situations simultaneously.”
“My experience of being coached by Nina has been enriching, timely and thought-provoking. Her values-led approach and ability to flex with my changing pace of focuses, have helped me reclaim my own sense of agency at a time of professional uncertainty. She has consistently offered a reflective space to dream, discover and design. I would recommend Nina to anyone who values honest human connection, conversation and is willing to be open, guided and supported to think beyond the stuckness and the now.”
“Since being coached by Nina, I genuinely experienced a shift in my self-narrative and how I understand my situation and positionality. I believe this mindset shift aided me in successfully applying to three different opportunities, giving me the confidence to put myself forward and articulate my practice with renewed vigour. It felt like Nina listened deeply to what I was communicating and responded in a very attuned way that enabled me to synthesise my thoughts in an active, rather than passive way. As someone with dyslexia, I found it invaluable to have someone to map out my thoughts with out loud, who both validated and challenged me.”

1:1 coaching is a confidential, tailored space to get honest about what matters to you and turn it into real career decisions. If you sense a gap between the work you do and what you value, we’ll explore it together, then work out how to close it, whether that means a change of direction, a bolder move, or reshaping the work you’re already in.
We would normally meet between 4 and 8 times depending on the objectives for the coaching. Meetings will generally be online for one hour, at a time that fits around your commitments.

Team coaching is a facilitated space for a group to get honest about what it’s really here to do, and to align how it works with what its members care about.
Many teams feel a gap between their stated purpose and their day-to-day reality, and that gap shows up as friction, drift, or quiet disengagement.
Together we’ll surface shared values, explore how the team operates as a system, and turn that clarity into agreements and actions that support each member to bring purpose to your shared work.

Organisational coaching supports leaders and teams across an organisation to close the gap between what it says it values and how it actually operates.
Rather than treating culture, purpose, and strategy as separate conversations, we look at the organisation as a living system: where values are lived, where they get lost, and what’s holding current patterns in place.
Working with individuals, teams, and leadership together, coaching builds the shared awareness and practical capability to make changes that stick, from how decisions get made to how people are supported to act on what matters.

About me
I’m Nina - a qualified, accredited coach and experienced educator.
A twenty-year career in creative higher education and sustainability has taught me a lot about working with people. It has also taught me that working with purpose is fundamental to making sense of how to live in a world fraught with crisis and complexity.
For 18 years, I led the education work at Centre for Sustainable Fashion, University of the Arts London, where I honed my skills in active listening and sense making of knotty sustainability problems alongside students, academics, industry partners and senior leaders.
As a qualified and accredited coach, my purpose is to bring those experiences together to offer a judgement-free space to support individuals, teams and organisations to explore the thoughts, feelings and actions needed to find purpose in a complex world.
When I’m not deep in conversation, I love making bread, digging in the garden and lying in my hammock.
